Legit.NG Poll: Nigerians Pick Jim Iyke Ahead of Charles Okocha & Stan Eze to play Hushpuppi’s role perfectly
The convicted Nigerian conman Abbas Ramon, also known as Hushpuppi, had been the subject of a series that American rapper and entrepreneur 50 Cent had previously announced.
Some Nollywood celebrities expressed interest in the series when 50 Cent posted the update on his social media page, and actress Uche Jumbo urged 50 Cent to cast a Nigerian actor to play Hushpuppi’s part.
Fans were encouraged to vote for the Nollywood actor they thought would be the best fit to play Hushpuppi in the series in a poll created by Legit.ng, which featured Jim Iyke, Stan Nze, and Charles Okocha.
The poll’s results revealed that renowned actor Jim Iyke is the audience’s top choice to play Hushpuppi’s part, garnering more than 65% of the votes.
Jim Iyke was followed closely by Charles Okocha with more than 15 per cent of the votes, while Stan Eze had the least votes.
