Reno Omokri, a Nigerian political activist, lawyer, and author, has urged Nigerians to utilize sensational music superstars Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy to promote the country.

Reno Omokri said that Nigeria made a major mistake by not employing famous musician Fela Kuti to promote the country while he was still alive, much as Jamaica did with Bob Marley, who was utilized to sell the country to the rest of the world.

The former presidential assistant went on to say that the United Kingdom is marketing itself to the globe through Nigerian-born actor John Boyega, by sharing a huge photo of Boyega at Heathrow Airport in London.

Reno Omokri wrote on social micro-blogging platform, Twitter;

A big national mistake we made was not using Fela to market Nigeria the way Jamaica used Bob Marley to market their country. Fela was our greatest ever artiste. Sadly, he is gone. Now, we have Wizkid, Davido and Burna. Let us not repeat bad history. Let’s use them!
