Nigerian-American professional mixed martial artist AND UFC champion, Kamaru Usman as landed in Nigeria, Aims at flagging off his foundation in Edo state.

Usman was born in Edo State, Nigeria. His father was a major in the Nigerian Army and his mother was a teacher. Usman and his family migrated to the United States when he was eight years old.

Since migrating to the US, the 34-year-old Auchi born has never visited his home country, Nigeria.

Following his recently win over Jorge Masvidal in a title match back in April 2021, Usman has decided that it’s high time he visits his fatherland.

The UFC champ and his crew landed in Nigeria in the early hours of Thursday June 10, 2021 and met with the governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello.

Usman also presented the governor with an autographed copy of his souvenir while he was at the statehouse projecting his vision to the number one man in Kogi.

After sighting Usman posing alongside Kogi State governor, Many Nigerians took to social media to react.
