“My Bestie Is Free” – Davido Celebrates As Cubana Chief Priest Regains Freedom From EFCC Custody

Davido has responded to the release of his bestie and celebrity bartender, Pascal Okechukwu, nicknamed Cubana Chief Priest, from the prison of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Davido revealed on his Instagram account that his best pal is free.

Cubana Chief Priest was detained for alleged money laundering and tax evasion. On Thursday of last week, he was spirited away from Lagos International Airport.

The anti-corruption bureau verified his detention but refused to provide further information.

Following his release, the celebrity bartender posted on Instagram that he had passed the EFCC’s drug test.

He wrote;

“EFCC tested Ok,Thank You family, I will never forget. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, make Una resend all my birthday wishes.”
Reacting, Davido, took to his Instagram, he wrote: “My bestie is free!! @cubana_chiefpriest.”
