Nigerian lady with voice like Cardi B goes viral as she raps like her in video

Fanny, a Nigerian female content creator, has gone viral after remaking American rapper Cardi B’s song WAP.

WAP, which starred Megan Thee Stallion and was released in 2020, drew widespread criticism for its explicit nature and sexual message.

Fanny not only performed a gospel rendition of the song, but she also rapped like the American rapper. She went on to perform the remade version of the song in a video shoot.

Netizens noted that she appeared to have a striking voice similar to Cardi B in the video shoot she shared on Instagram.

Another interesting aspect of her remake of the song that people noticed was that it lacked any sexual-positive message, unlike the criticized original version.
