Popular Nigerian singer, Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, known professionally as Simi, has been dragged into the mud for celebrating her colleague, Tems on her grammy nominations.

Recall that Tems was recently nominated for the ‘Best Global Music Performance’ category for her contribution on Wizkid’s smashing tune, “Essence”.

Reacting to the great news, Simi took to the bluebird app to congratulate Tems and it did not go down well with social media users. In her tweet, Simi noted that she and the others are so proud of Tems.

On sighting her tweet, users wasted no time to slam Simi over her choice of words. According to them, Simi should have opening congratulated Tems instead of beating around the bush and using ‘We’.

Some when far as to accuse Simi of showing her younger colleague ‘fake love’, while others opined that Simi is not happy that Tems got a Grammy nomination before her.
