“No Be Juju Be That” – Reactions As 90-Year-Old Emir Of Daura Weds 20-Year-Old Lady(Video)
The Emir of Daura, Faruk Umar Faruk, has reportedly married a 20-year-old bride, Aisha Iro Maikano.
The couple tied the knot after a brief courtship, in a low-key marriage ceremony in Katsina state on Saturday, the 11th of December, 2021.
According to Daily Nigerian, the monarch paid N1million naira dowry to the bride, who is the daughter of a high ranking traditional title holder, Fagacin Katsina, Iro Maikano.
A sources also disclosed that the Emir has married not less than four young wives in the last six years. Another source close to the royal family said the emir divorced all his three wives recently, to pick a new four set of wives.
In the short video that surfaced online, the jubilant bride was seen dancing to the tune of a traditional music.
