October 6: Fans celebrate World Wizkid Day

On the occasion of World Wizkid Day, fans throughout the world are celebrating Grammy winner Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid.
The day was set aside in 2018 to honor him and his accomplishments in Minnesota.
Governor of Minnesota, Mark Dayton, designated October 6th of each year as “Wizkid Day,” noting the Nigerian singer’s numerous historic achievements across the world.
