Multiple award winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy has surpassed one billion views on popular video-streaming platform, YouTube.

The Grammy award winner has now joined fellow Nigerian singer and DMW boss, Davido, as the only Nigerian artistes’ to achieve such feat.

YouTube made this known on Burna’s page, which shows the ”Dangote” crooner amassing a total of 1,006,338,859 views as the time of filing this report.

Burna Boy crossed the new landmark, with videos like ‘On The Low’ contributing with a massive 225M views. Burna Boy’s ‘Ye’ single which many will refer to as his international breakout material has 159M views.

Recall that American rapper, Lil Wayne is one of the International acts that have vibed to Burna boy’s “Ye” song. Other artistes includes Cardi B, Snoop Dogg and others.
