Peter Obi tops list of most search on Google between January to June 2022 – See Full List

Politics, high-profile deaths, personalities, sports, TV series, blockbuster movies, musicians, songs, and Nollywood actors lead catchy trends on Google in Nigeria during the first half of 2022.

According to The Nation, the top three trending people in Nigeria in the first half of the year were Peter Obi, Vladimir Putin, and Bianca Ojukwu.

Peter Obi is a former Anambra state governor and presidential candidate in the 2023 election.

Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin became the second most searched person in Nigeria in the first six months of this year on Google.

Bianca, the widow of late Biafra warlord Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, has become the third person Nigerians are searching for on Google after slapping Ebelechukwu Obiano, the former Anambra state first lady.
