Grammy-award winner, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, is GQ Magazine‘s face for the month of October.

GQ Magazine is an American international monthly men’s magazine based in New York City and founded in 1931.

Sharing astonishing photos of the crooner, the international monthly men’s magazine described him as the “The King of Afropop”.

“He’s the guy Drake and Beyoncé call up whenever they need a continent-spanning smash hit. Now, Lagos’s own Wizkid is taking over speakers everywhere with the sounds of home,” GQ wrote.

Wizkid  is currently on his Made in Lagos Tour in the United States. The tour kicked off on Friday, the 10th of September 2021, in Boston and will continue until October 12 in Atlanta.

Recall that that he recently became the first African artiste to win a MTV Video Music Award. The “Essence” crooner won the award for ‘Best Cinematography’ due to his contribution on Beyonce’s ‘Brown Skin Girl’ song.
