Chizzy, a Nigerian R&B musician, had his phone seized by fast-finger burglars in Lagos state.
He went live on Instagram to connect with fans and play a giveaway game, with the winner receiving N30,000.
Chizzy was strolling down the street while doing an Instagram live session, and as he was replying to comments from his fans, someone on a bike snatched the phone while it was still live.
In the background, he could be heard yelling “My Phone!”
They took the phone and chastised him for filming on the street. Netizens who reacted to the video poked holes in it, claiming that it was staged by the singer.
