Popular Barbadian singer and businesswoman, Rihanna is officially the world’s wealthiest female musician with an estimated net worth of $1.7 billion(698.7 billion naira).

This was made known by American business magazine, Forbes, in a lengthy post they shared via their official Instagram page on Wednesday, August 4th, 2021.

Taking to their Instagram page, Forbes stated that the “Work” crooner joined the billionaire league following the success of her cosmetic company, Fenty.

Part of the post reads;

When Robyn Fenty, known to the world as Rihanna, launched Fenty Beauty in 2017, she sought to create a cosmetics company that made “women everywhere (feel) included.” A perhaps unintended consequence: The beauty line has helped her enter one of the world’s most exclusive ranks: Billionaire. Rihanna is now worth $1.7 billion, Forbes estimates—making her the wealthiest female musician in the world and second only to Oprah Winfrey as the richest female entertainer.
