A Tems fan has started a needless online squabble by claiming that the Nigerian songstress is gradually pushing Barbados superstar Rihanna into obscurity.

Tems’ name and personality became well-known in world music after her compatriot Wizkid featured her on the globally recognized song ‘Essence,’ which was released in 2021.

The tweep known as @greatmvn suggested that Tems is taking Rihanna’s place as a female music act who is well-known for her beauty and talent.

Although the post did not go far enough in expanding the theme to enrich the conversation that might follow, netizens were quick to voice their displeasure with the hollow statement.
