Singer, Teni Advises Fans On Deadly Virus, ‘COVID-19′(Video)

popular Nigerian musical artist, Teniola Apata popularly known as Teni has recently shared some piece of advise to her fans on COVID-19, confirming that she also tested ‘positive’

In December 2019, a pneumonia outbreak was reported in Wuhan, China and on the 31st of December 2019, the outbreak was traced to a novel strain of corona virus, which was given the interim name 2019-nCoV by the World Health Organization (WHO), later renamed SARS-CoV-2 by the International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses.

The first confirmed case in Nigeria was announced on 27 February 2020, when an Italian citizen in Lagos tested positive for the virus. On 9 March 2020, a second case of the virus was reported in Ewekoro, Ogun State, a Nigerian citizen who had contact with the Italian citizen. Singer, Teni in recent post she made, disclosed to her fans that she was confirmed positive for COVID-19.

In a video sighted on her Instagram page,Teni advised the public keep on practicing the COVID-19 prevention exisercises which include; washing their hands, wear their nose masks, carry their hand sanitizers wherever they go, and follow all the protocols to keep safe.
