Following the claim made by his colleague and fellow Labour Party member, Kenneth Okonkwo, that he never had an agreement with his former party that ASUU will continue their industrial action for another seven months, veteran Nollywood actor Freddie Leonard took to social media to voice his opinion.

Remember that veteran actor and Nigerian attorney Kenneth Okonkwo recently discussed Peter Obi, his party’s candidate for president in 2023, as well as other current issues in the nation, including the Academic Staff Union of Universities strike, in an interview with Channels TV? (ASUU).

However, when discussing the ongoing strike, Kenneth Okonkwo revealed that he never agreed to support the academic body’s right to continue their strike for 7 months when he joined the ruling APC party. He also said that his loved ones and Nigerian students have been staying at home without knowing whether this industrial action will come to an end.

Further discussing the APC party’s manifesto, Kenneth Okonkwo claimed that the party’s leaders had broken their promises to address issues such as insecurity, corruption, and the Naira to Dollar exchange rate.
