“Stop Pouring Stuff On Your Bodies” – Joeboy Warns Fans

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Joseph Akinfenwa-Docus, professionally known as Joeboy, has issued a warned to his fans against pouring harmful content on their bodies.

The 24-year-old singer’s new song ‘ Alcohol ‘ released on the 24th of September has been trending on Tiktok and other social media networks since its release.

This led to a viral challenge where fans were seen pouring harmful content like bleach on their bodies with some even going to the extent of drinking Dettol.

Joeboy, who seemed displeased with the videos, urged his fans to desist from the challenge.

He, however, thanked them for their unwavering support for his songs.

 “I appreciate the love alcohol is getting but stop pouring stuff on your bodies.”

“You’re welcome to keep learning the lyrics by the way.” – he wrote on Twitter.

Born in Lagos state, Joeboy’s career officially kicked off in 2017. At that time, he was 20 years old and had released a cover of Ed Sheeran’s song – Shape of You. The song garnered huge responses that set the singer on the right track. 

This cover also caught the attention of renowned Nigerian singer Mr Eazi, who pushed the Banku music narrative into mainstream music.
