“Them Gimme Belle” – Simi Reveals To Fan Why She Had To Wait 2 Years Before Dropping “Woman”
Popular Nigerian songstress, Simisola Kosoko, has hilariously replied a fan who was curious to know why she waited 2 years before dropping her song, “Woman”.
Hours ago, Simi dropped her first official 2021 single “Woman“. This is coming in months after celebrating Deja’s one year with the songs, ‘Happy Birthday‘ & ‘Duduke (French Version)‘.
Speaking on the song, the crooner said;
“I’m grateful for every Woman that is standing in the gap for all of us. Your vulnerability is courage. I hope that, going forward, we are mindful of the words we say and the seeds that we plant in the lives of people. I also hope that we learn to support and protect women that are not able to do so for themselves. Now we celebrate Women!“
Fans who have been awaiting the release of her song jumped on the “Nobdylikewoman” challenge. A challenge that enables you to voice out the negative comments hurled at by society as a woman.
Nonetheless, a fan who discovered that the song was recorded back in 2019 took to Twiter and shared, Simi recorded Woman in 2019?!
In response to her shock, Simi said;
“Yep. Dem gimme belle, so I decided to wait.”
