#TouchitChallenge: KiDi Gains Over 20million Views On TikTok – A Record(VIDEO)

Ghanaian highlife and afrobeat singer, Dennis Nana Dwamena, better known as KiDi has set a new record on Tiktok.

TikTok, known in China as Douyin, is a Chinese video-sharing focused social networking service owned by Chinese company ByteDance.

After releasing his hit-single “Touch It”, Kidi ran a Tiktok challenge to push the song. And it has done just that has it becomes the most viewed Ghanaian music challenge on TikTok and topping the chart on Boomplay top 100 playlists ahead of Omah Lay and Gyakie. The song also topped the chart of the top 10 Ghana count down.

The “Odo” hit-maker announced the record-breaking news via his Twitter page.

He tweeted;

“The #KidiTouchItChallenge has 20 MILLION VIEWS on tiktok WILD!”

Released on the 6th of May 2021, “Toch it” has garnered over a million views on YouTube and is currently the most viewed Ghanaian music challenge on the video-sharing app TikTok – a record.
