Two Time Nigerian National Champion – BBNaija Mike Edwards Celebrats New Achievement
Mike Edwards, a BBNaija celebrity and Nigerian high jump champion, will compete for Nigeria at the Commonwealth Games.
Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) personality Mike Edwards has recaptured his title as Nigeria’s high jump champion.
At the current 2022 National Trials, Edwards, 32, was crowned Nigerian high jump champion.
Edwards made his impact at the national trials, which were organized by the Athletics Federation of Nigeria, AFN. Edwards, a former Great Britain high jumper, competed at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, Edo State.
Edwards got to prominence after competing in Big Brother Naija Season 4, also known as Big Brother Naija: Pepper Dem edition.
BB Mike Edwards, a Nigerian, won the high jump by successfully defending his national title on the trails. Edwards, an African Champion Silver Medalist, now has another honor to his name.
He won the high jump competition with a season-best clearance of 2.20 meters. On his official Instagram account, Edwards hailed his most recent success.
