US-Based Nigerian Actress Georgina Onuoha Pens Beautiful Note About America

It is indeed the start of a new dawn in the United States of America and this is evident in the level of happiness displayed by citizens and residents of the country since the inauguration of Joe Biden as the 46th president and Kamala Harris as the first female vice-president.

US-based Nollywood actress, Georgina Onuoha, is also among those who have expressed their satisfaction at a fresh start in the country.

Taking to her page on Instagram, Onuoha disclosed that she was moved to tears as she watched the ex-presidents Bill Clinton, George Bush and Barrack Obama address the nation.

She wrote:

Regardless of your political views , having these three past Presidents Bill Clinton the 42nd president, George Bush the 43rd, and Barrack Obama the 44th president speak to the nation brought me to tears as they congratulated the 46th president.

In a different portion of her note, the actress took a swipe at ex-president Trump who was missing in attendance. Onuoha prayed for history to be kind to everyone while noting that America will continue to live up to the full meaning of its creed.

America is an experiment, not a perfect union, but will continue to strive to live up to the full meaning of it’s creed. The world can go to be today resting fearing no meanness, hate, bigotry, lies and division. God bless us all and heal us all.
