Veteran Actress Tonto Dikeh Crowned ‘Domestic Violence Activist’ Of The Year

Veteran actress and brand influencer, Tonto Dikeh, has expressed her excitement as she has been named the Domestic Advocate of the year at the 2020 edition of the National Peace Awards.

According to reports, the actress walked out of her marriage due to domestic violence and false allegations from her ex-husband. It is against this that she began her foundation to save lives.

Sharing the news with her fans, Tonto shared a stunning picture of herself with the award and attached the caption, “A very well deserved and well-received award.. Thank you to THE MESSENGER OF PEACE AWARDS”.

TontoDikeh set up her foundation in the year 2000. The foundation was established with a clear vision and passion for making life better for all displaced and under privilege women, girls, the youth and children in Africa. The foundation also aims at organising sensitization programs and symposiums that will bring sanity and civility to the black race.
