Multiple award winning singer, Burna Boy, was one of the artistes who performed at the 2021 Global Citizen Live.

The Global Citizen Festival is an annual music festival started in 2012 and organized by Global Poverty Project. 

This year’s event with the theme; “Defend The Planet, Defeat Poverty”, sees the guest appearances from top international acts, celebrities, world leaders and many more.

The 24-hour festival features performances from all around the globe, including Lagos, London, Los Angeles, New York City, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Seoul, and Sydney.

Other Nigerian acts billed to perform at this year’s Global Citizen Live concert include Tiwa Savage, Davido, and Femi Kuti.
