VIDEO: Highlights From Davido’s Birthday Party In Dubai
Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, turned 29 on Sunday, the 21st of November, 2021.
To celebrate the special occasion the DMW boss held a party at a restaurant in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
In a video from the party, Davido sat at the head of a long table as a white chef cut a small piece of meat into his mouth amidst cheers from his crew.
In another video, he stood in front of a balloon decoration to cut a small piece of cake while a birthday song rent the air. Friends of the singer showered prayers on him as they wined and dined in celebration.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, Davido rose to fame after releasing “Dami Duro”, the second single from his debut studio album Omo Baba Olowo (2012).
In 2012, Davido won the Next Rated award at The Headies. In January 2016 he signed a record deal with Sony Music.
He then founded the record label Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), to which acts Dremo, Mayorkun, Peruzzi and Liya have been signed. In July 2016, Davido signed a record deal with Sony’s RCA Records.
In 2017, Davido released five singles including “If” and “Fall”. “If” generated worldwide social media activity while “Fall” became the longest-charting Nigerian pop song in Billboard history.
