Super eagles/Watford defender, William Troost-Ekong has walked down the aisle with his longtime girlfriend, in a private ceremony.

The professional footballer and his girlfriend who is also the mother of his son, Oscar, got married in a private ceremony that took place in London on Sunday night, the 17th of October, 2021.

The wedding had several footballers including Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi, Leon Balogun, Moussa Sissoko and many other superstars in attendance.

Born in Netherlands, William Paul Troost-Ekong made his senior international debut for the Super Eagles on 13 June 2015, playing 90 minutes in an AFCON qualifying match against Chad.

In June 2019, he was named in the country’s 23-man squad for the Africa Cup of Nations, where he scored an 89th-minute winner against South Africa to send his team through to the semi-finals on the way to a third-place finish.
