VIDEO: “These Are The Senior Citizens Of Nigeria” – Singer Harrysong tells Nigerians
Singer Harrysong, has described a herd of cows he spotted passing by a road side as the “ senior citizens of Nigeria”.
On spotting the herd of cows coming from an unknown destination, he made a video gesticulating toward the cow, the singer said
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the senior citizens of Nigeria. You can have the way sirs.
It should be remembered that since President Muhammadu Buhari took office, herders and farmers have been at odds, not just in the northern region of Nigeria, but throughout the country. Thousands of farmers have been slain or kidnapped by Nigerian headsmen this year alone. The headsmen are protected in some way by higher authority, which is why Harrysong referred to them as Nigeria’s senior citizens.
Harrysong is a Nigerian singer, composer, and instrumentalist who catapulted to prominence following his Nelson Mandela tribute song. In 2013, he earned the Headies’ “Most Downloaded Callertune Award.”
