Popular Nigerian-American rapper, Wale, has responded to Nigerians dragging Him Over His Caption Of A he took with Nigerian superstar, Wizkid.

This is coming after the rapper posted series of photos of himself and Wizkid having a good time following Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ in Maryland, USA.  captioning one of the photos, Wale wrote; ‘Yoruba’.

Reacting to the post, a Twitter user identified as James Jimmy called out the rapper. According to him, if an Igbo celebrity hailed his or her tribe as Wale did, the Yorubas will waste no time in dragging the person into the mud.

In response, Wale informed the guy that his tweet was not to create problems between the two ethnic groups.

He wrote;

“It’s not a competetion. The flag is the flag. we should always hold each other down”
