The police have initiated an investigation into the case. AKBP Nanang Prihasmoko, the head of the Cybercrime Division at the Bali Regional Police, stated that they have conducted searches and investigations related to the video.

“The results indicate that the video was not made in Bali. It is suspected to have been recorded outside of Bali,” Nanang said in his statement.
