“We’re on two very different lanes in life, we love each other” – Burna Boy speaks on competing with Wizkid (Video)
Popular Nigerian singer and Grammy award winner, Burna Boy has opens up on his supposed competition with fellow Afrobeat superstar singer, Wizkid.
During a recent live broadcast with American–Haitian Hip Hop disc jockey, DJ Whookid, Burna Boy was asked about seeing Wizkid as a competition especially when both are nominated for the same categories of awards, in reply Burna Boy stated that aside coming from the same place with Wiz , he never sees him as a competition.
Adding to his point, Burna boy avow that the two of them are completely different in all ramification as he emphasized the love they have for one another.
In his words;
Nah, we’re on two very different lanes in life, you know? And the only similarity really, is the fact that we’re from the same place and we love each other, you get me? That’s what brings us together.
It’s where we’re from and the love we have for each other. Other than that, we’re on two different lanes mehn. Wiz is about the b*ches, you get me? Wiz is all about the b*ches. Me? I’m about real life… and the b*ches.
