Ghanaian rapper Michael Owusu Addo professionally known as Sarkodie in his verse on Sista Afia‘s new song titled “Sika” asked what would a grown man be doing in the kitchen if not for poverty.

The rapper is indirectly telling all men who are mostly seen in the kitchen trying to be caring and romantic that they are poor and if they were rich, they wouldn’t be in the kitchen.

Sarkodie is saying that rich dudes do not enter the kitchen and that it’s only poor men who are mostly found in the kitchen helping out their women in the name of love.

The Ghanaian rapper has contributed to the Ghanaian music industry and which he has earned a lot of numerous accolades, including the Vodafone Ghana Music Award for “Artiste of the Decade”.

He was announced the first winner of BET’s Best International Flow artist at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards. He is also considered one of the major proponents of the Azonto genre and dance and one of the most successful African rappers of all time.
