Big Brother Titans, a popular reality television show, is coming to an end. After 72 days of intense competition, only one housemate would emerge as the ultimate TITAN.

The winner will most likely say goodbye to poverty as he or she returns home with a $100,000 cash prize, as well as endorsement deals and fame.

On January 15, the show began with 20 housemates from Nigeria and South Africa and ended with six housemates left to compete for a grand prize on Sunday, April 2nd.

Remember that the show’s 20 housemates included 10 Nigerians: Yvonne, Kanaga Jnr, Jenni O, Ebubu, Marvin, Jaypee, Nana, Blaqboi, Olivia, Yemi Cregx, and Tsatsii, Lukay, Yaya, Justin, Thabang, Ipeleng, Mmeli, Nelisa, Juicy Jay, and Khosi. On Sunday, they were the first to appear on the show.

A few days later, Biggie, the show’s coordinator, introduced four more housemates, Blue Aiva, Theo Traw, Sandra, and Miracle OP, during the Thursday night pool party, bringing the total to 24. There were twelve Nigerians and an equal number of South Africans in the house.

So far, eighteen housemates have been evicted. Theo Traw and Sandra were the first to be evicted in week 2, followed by Lukay and Jaypee at the end of week 3, and Mmeli and Jenni O in week 4.

Unlike how the show began, the house now has an equilibrium of six finalists: three Nigerians and three South Africans.

By the end of week 5, two more housemates, Yaya and Marvin, had been evicted.

Week 6 was a sham eviction week, so no housemates were kicked out. At the end of week 7, four housemates were evicted: Juicy Jay and Olivia.

By the end of week 9, three housemates had been evicted: Nana, Blue Aiva, and Miracle OP. Justin, Blaqboi, and Thabang were evicted from the six housemates nominated for eviction at week 10, leaving Kanaga Jnr, Khosi, and Yvonne to compete in the finale.

Unlike in the beginning, the house now has six finalists. Ebubu, Kanaga Jr., and Yvonne are three Nigerians, and Khosi, Ipeleng, and Tsatsii are three South Africans.

Viewers were given the opportunity to vote on who remained in the Big Brother house and who was evicted during their stay. After 72 days on the show, a winner will be determined by viewer popularity votes.

With two days to the end of the show, the winner of the ultimate prize seems unpredictable.

However, evicted female housemate Blue Aiva, in her latest interview with RayzTV Vlog on Instagram, rooted for Kanaga Jnr.

She said: “He’s a powerful individual. We’ve always encouraged each other. Kanaga deserves to win. Kanaga is the BEST.”

Another evicted housemate, Thabang, picked Tsatsii to be the winner.

He said during a media tour after the eviction last week: “To win, I’m supporting Tsatsii.”

During an Instagram live session, former BBNaija winner Phyna said, “I want a female to win BBTitans. If one checks the history of BBNaija, it has been won mostly by men. It is time for women to take over and win back-to-back.”

Famous Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson in a post on her Instagram story, drew support for Nigerian housemate, Yvonne Godswill.

Similarly, actress Adesua Etomi Wellington declared support for Nigerian housemate and actor Kanaga Jnr via her Instagram story, saying, “Loved working with him on MTV Shuga, a solid young man. Wanna see him win.”

It’s ultimately up to the judges, the rules of the competition and the viewers to determine who wins on Sunday.
