Dorcas Shola Fapson has explained why she played a Wizkid song to open Davido’s show at the O2 Arena after being dragged for doing so knowing the show was for Davido.
Dorcas Shola Fapson is an actress and a DJ who was given the opportunity by Davido to open his show at the O2 Arena. She chose to open the show with a Wizkid song, which some people seem to be confused about and have dragged her for.
Dorcas Shola Fapson explained why she did it, saying there was no way she could open a Daido show with a Davido song because that’s what fans will listen to the entire night, so she had to give them something different to warm them up for the man of the night.
According to her, there’s nothing wrong with being a fan of both Davido and Wizkid, and if she ever gets the chance to open a show for Wizkid, she’ll play a Davido song because it shows nothing but love.
Most of the people who gathered at the O2 Arena were also Wizkid fans, as they cheered and shouted when Dorcas opened the show with a Wizkid song, and they were the same people who cheered when Davido came on stage, demonstrating their love for both artists.
