Wizkid Adds One More Award To His Collection(VIDEO)

Afro-pop king and Grammy award-winner, Ibrahim Ayodeji Balogun known professionally as Wizkid or ‘Big Wiz’ has added yet another award to his collection.

Wizkid is referred to by many as a national treasure to all of Nigeria. This makes a lot of sense when you find out that with 65 awards from 223 nominations, he has the most awards as a Nigerian artiste.

Following his performance yesterday at the “Hustle and Bustle show” which was held in Abuja, Wizkid has was named the best male singer in Africa.

The “Come closer” hit-maker landed in Abuja on Sunday evening. On his arrival, Fans went wild over-excitement and nearly mobbed him as they were super excited to see him and wanted to touch him, but his heavy security blocked them and he was able to walk through them to his destination.

In a video shared on the snap chat story, Wizkid was seen holding his newly award plaque as he dedicates it to his mother.

The plaque had an inscription “Best Male in Africa – Wizkid”, This means ‘Big Wiz’ has been honoured as the Best Male Artist in Africa.
