Afrobeats star, Wizkid has been nominated in two different categories at the 2022 Grammy Awards which is scheduled to take place in January next year.

The nominations were released by The Recording Academy on Tuesday, the 23rd of November 2022.

Wizkid was nominated in two categories at the 2022 Grammy Awards, with one nomination for his last album, ‘Made in Lagos’ in the Best Global Music Album category and another for ‘Best Global Music Performance’ with his smashing tune, ‘Essence’ featuring Tems.

Topping this years list is American musician,  Jon Batiste with a total of 11 nods. He is followed by Justin Bieber, Doja Cat and H.E.R. with eight each. Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo are close on their heels with 7 nods apiece.
