Popular Nigerian singer, Wizkid is sitting comfortably on the number one spot on seven different Billboard charts.

The new millstone was announced by Wizkid‘s fan page, @Wizkidnews via their Instagram page on Wednesday, October 27.

As seen in the post they  shared, Wizkid’s smashing tune,  “Essence” has taken the top spots on 7 different Billboard charts including; World Digital Song Sales, Adult R&B Airplay, R&B Digital Song Sales, Hot R&B songs amongst others.

This is coming after Billboard Magazine confirmed that Wizkid’s “Made in Lagos“ album has been submitted for the “Best Global Music Award” at the 2022 Grammys.

Released in October 2020 by Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records, “Made In Lagos” is one of the greatest albums of 2020/2021.

The 18 tracks project has peaked on numerous international charts and currently holds the record for the longest-charting African album.
