Wizkid & Tems’ “Essence” Sells Over One Million Units In The US
“Essence” by Wizkid featuring Nigerian R&B singer, Tems, has now sold over a million dollars in the US just 10 months after it dropped.
The new millstone was announced by Wizkid’s official fan page, @Wizkidnews via their Instagram page on Tuesday, the 21st of September, 2021.
Re-sharing a post by Chart data, @Wizkidnews wrote;

It’s the first African song to achieve this.
Released off Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos” album in October 2020, “Essence” has went on to become one of the most talked about song in Nigeria and the world at large. It has gained millions of streams on all platforms and have charted in various global charts in.
Barely two weeks ago, the song was certified Gold in the US, becoming Wizkid’s second Gold record after ‘Come Closer’ featuring Drake.
