Wizkid & Tems Secures 5 Nominations For The 2021 Soul Train Awards

Nigerian superstars, Wizkid and Tems have grabbed five nominations respectively at the 2021 Soul Train Awards scheduled to hold on the 28th of this month.
The Soul Train Awards is an annual music award show that rewards the best of the best in African-American culture music and entertainment.
Wizkid’s and Tems’ were nominated for Song of The Year, Video of The Year, The Ashford and Simpson songwriter’s award and Best Collaboration for the groundbreaking single, ‘Essence.’
Daddy Yo then bags a nomination for Album of The Year(Made In Lagos), while Tems bags another nomination for Best New Artist.

This year’s nominees list is headed by H.E.R who grabbed with nominations including Album of the Year and Best R&B/Soul Female Artist. Jasmine Sullivan and Chris Brown are just behind H.E.R with six nominations each.
