“Ya boy got covid” – Wiz Khalifa Reveals
Popular American rapper and singer, Cameron Jibril Thomaz popularly known as Wiz Khalifa has disclosed that he recently tested positive to Covid-19 and he will be spending his days in quarantine.
In December 2019, a pneumonia outbreak was reported in Wuhan, China and on the 31st of December 2019, the outbreak was traced to a novel strain of coronavirus, which was given the interim name 2019-nCoV by the World Health Organization (WHO), later renamed SARS-CoV-2 by the International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses.
Ever since it’s outbreak, the deadly virus, Covid-19 has continued to spread like wildfire, pinning the entire globe to a stand still. Despite that the vaccine is now available, it still does not curb the daily rise in new cases.
Covid 19 cases have continued to rise exponentially and a lot of celebrities such as Wiz Khalifa have been unlucky enough to get infected with the virus.
Taking to his Twitter page on Wednesday, July 14, the “See You Again” crooner revealed that he has COVID-19.
He tweeted;
“Okay loved ones….sooo…..Ya boy got covid. No symptoms. Just stay away from me for a lil while”
Wiz also promised to use his time wisely as he locks in and quarantines himself for a few weeks.
He wrote;
“While i’m in the house I’ll be givin y’all new content, planning raves, and readying this new project..”
