Tchidi Chikere, a popular Nigerian actor, was recently harassed on social media for showing support for his colleague, Yul Edochie. After 17 years of marriage to his first wife, Yul just married a second woman and welcomed a son with her.
Chikere was one of the actor’s coworkers who praised his decision on social media. Most of Yul’s detractors, he claims, are hypocrites and behave worse in private. He also stated that social media is not a court, and that only the law and God have the authority to decide.
Chikere’s remark was entertaining to an online commenter, who commented that Yul is even better than the actor. According to the netizen, Yul was able to keep one woman for 17 years, however Chikere was unable to keep either of his two wives.
Chikere responded to the person’s comment not long after being trolled online.
He stated that his first marriage lasted 11 years and his second marriage lasted 7 years when his wife, Nuella Njubigbo, decided to sneak out of the house with her belongings.
Many women believe they rule the world because men don’t speak up, and Chikere said he could tell his experience one day.
