Popular Nigerian businessman Obi Cubana lost his mum Mrs Ezinne Iyiegbu in December 2020, and she was laid to rest last Friday on the 16th of July 2021.

However, since 15th of July till today, the burial of Obi Cubana’s mother has been a top trending news across Nigeria. Nigerians are yet to recover from the shock of the surprising burial ceremony which looked more like a carnival. It is not over yet as a thanksgiving service is holding today the18th of July, at Good Shepherd Anglican church Oba, Anambra state.

The burial ceremony of Obi Cubana’s mother attracted dignitaries from far and wide, to Oba town in Anambra state. Dignitaries who came from distant places took flight down to Asaba international airport in Delta state, and they made their way with convoy down to Anambra state.

The indigenes of Oba town saw different kinds of exotic cars as they arrived for the burial. Top Nigerian musicians attended this funeral, and some musicians such as Patoranking, D’banj and many others did a live performance at the event.

However, it was noticed that some top musicians did not attend the occasion. This article features three top Nigerian musicians from Anambra state who were not present at the burial ceremony of Obi Cubana’s mother. Below are the top Musicians who are from Anambra who did not attend the funeral:

1) Chinedu Okoli

Popular hip-hop star Chinedu Okoli otherwise called Flavour was not present at the burial ceremony. After doing some research I discovered that flavour is not currently in Nigeria.

Flavour has been away from the country for some time now. He has been in USA for his 2021 Music Tour which began on the 2nd of July, to end on the 5th of September.
