‘If You Are Successful & Wealthy, Avoid Your School Alumni WhatsApp Forum’ – Reno Omokri Says, Gives Reason

Reno Omokri, a Nigerian author, claims that successful and wealthy people have no place in their school’s alumni WhatsApp group.

In a recent post on his verified social media profile on the prominent social media platform, Twitter, he made this remark.

According to him, these people would attract unneeded hostility from classmates who believe it is their obligation to cure their poverty and that their failure to do so is a sign of hatred toward them.

The post he made reads;

If you are successful and wealthy, avoid your school alumni WhatsApp forum. Too often, you may attract unnecessary hatred by schoolmates who believe their poverty is your responsibility to fix and your refusal to fix their poverty is a show of hatred towards them.
