2021 MOBO Awards: Wizkid, Rema, Drake, Kanye West, Others Nominated For ‘Best International Act’
Nigerian superstars, Wizkid and Rema have been nominated for the ‘Best international act’ category at the 2021 MOBO Awards.
Other acts nominated for the category includes, Doja Cat, Drake, Kanye West, Lil Nas X, Megan Thee Stallion, Polo G, Skillibeng and Young Stoner Life (Young Thug & Gunna).
The MOBO Awards full nominee list was released today, November 11, and topping this year’s list is Nigerian-British rapper, Dave with a total 4 nominations in different categories including, Best male act, Album of the year, Song of the year and Best hip-hop act.
10 African acts were also nominated for the ‘Best African Music act’ including Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido. Of the 10 names on this list of nominees in this particular category, 8 are Nigerian by nationality, while the other two are Ghana’s King Promise and British-African music group, NSG. Other Nigerians on this list nominees asides from the aforementioned include; CKay, Tiwa Savage, Rema, Tems, and Ayra Starr.
