Helen Paul, a popular Nigerian comedian, criticized the state of affairs in the country in a social media post, notably mentioning how low electricity has had a bad impact on the country’s industries.
Helen Paul, a Ph.D. graduate of the University of Lagos, revealed this information on her verified Instagram profile while discussing earnings and investments.
According to her, most businesses have been devastated as a result of the large sums of money spent on fueling generators, leaving them with little earnings when the NEPA, which rarely supplies energy, comes to collect payment at the end of the month.
She wrote; “Only in Nigeria where you fuel your Generator to run your business and use the profit from the business to pay NEPA Bill.”
