Adekunle Olopade, a contestant on Big Brother Naija Level Up, has been chosen to host the DSTV news conference for the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

On Saturday, October 29, the talent agent and reality television star shared the news on his Instagram account.

In a post, Adekunle uploaded a photo of himself sporting a specially made Super Eagles jersey with the caption, “Qatar 2022, YaQatar Experience Press Conference” (sic) Yours truly, the host.

Confirming the development in another Insta-story post, he wrote; “Hi guys, you already know who it is. Guess what, I’m the host of the DSTV press conference FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.”

In advance of the World Cup, MultiChoice, the parent company of DSTV, sent the BBNaija season 7 finalist a gift basket, which he flaunted in a video.

Qatar will host the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which will run from November 20 to December 18. 64 matchups will see 32 teams competing.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s national team, the Super Eagles will not be present at the world cup in the Arab country after losing out on a qualification ticket to Ghana back last March.
