“I Didn’t Even Know I Was Going To Make Music” – Buju’s Reacts To Trolls About His Old Tweets
Fast rising Nigerian singer, Daniel Benson popularly known as Bujutoyourears or Buju has reacted after Twitter Nigeria, dug up his old tweets.
This comes after the singer’s old tweets where he was trolling other artists such as Mr Eazi, Wizkid and Davido resurfaced.
The tweets sparked various reactions from social media users as many criticized him while others demanded a response from the singer.
Buju decided to give them a response via his Snapchat page on Saturday, the 31st of July 2021.
Taking to his Snapchat page, the “Outside” crooner said that those tweets were from a time when he did not even know he was going to be a musician.
He also said that all he used to do was listen and criticize just like any regular music fan would do. He added that listening to music is much easier than actually making music.
In his words;
Over the years, I’ve grown to understand that receiving or consuming music is wayyy easier than actually making music. It’s why when you don’t make music and all you do is consume, it’s easier to make unsolicited takes about another person’s music and that’s what I used to do, sadly.
Lol in 2015/16/17, I didn’t even know I was even gon make music. I just used to listen and criticize which is still allowed so far I no kill anybody but it was because I knew no better. So if people think it’s wise to criticize me over tweets from those years. it’s calm… it’s just joblessness sha. I know way better and I’m cool with everybody.
