I Might Give It All Away – Davido Says After Raising N184M For His Birthday Celebration

Singer Davido has disclosed that he might give all the money he was able to raise for his birthday celebration away after a lot of people called on him to donate the money to charity.

Davido ahead of his birthday decided to test his friends by asking them N1M each and was only expecting N100M from all of them but as we speak now, he has exceeded the expected amount and is almost hitting N200M.

Some people chastised him for asking his friends for money, while others mocked him, calling him broke and all that, but some people advised him to donate all the money he received from his friends to charity.

Davido, in a tweet that we assume is a reaction to all of the online criticism, stated that he may give all of the money he raised away rather than using it to clear his Rolls-Royce, as he stated initially, because the amount has now grown enormous.

Whatever Davido decides to do with the money is none of our business because his friends gave it to him when he asked for it, so we hope his decision to give it all away is not motivated by criticism but rather by his own free will because he owes no one anything.
