My husband is killing me with too much ֆɛx – Lady runs to court to ask for a divorce

The reason for a woman’s rush to the court to seek annulment of her marriage is intriguing.

Olamide Lawal, a mother of three, petitioned a Grade ‘A’ Customary Court in Mapo, Ibadan (Nigeria) for divorce because her husband, Saheed Lawal, is killing her with too much sex.

Olamide also claimed that her husband is a drunk with no ‘human kindness’ on him.

“Lawal and I have been married for 14 years now. He is an unrepentant drunk who has no human kindness in him. He devotes his time to beer consumption, beating and forcing me to have sex with him. He does not provide for my children”.

“I cannot stand him anymore,” she said. She also asked the court to stop her husband from calling her phone or visiting her apartment.

Lawal, on the other hand, asked the court to persuade his wife to stay with him.

According to Lawal who is a Fashion Designer:

“I am remorseful and turned my life around. I have stopped drinking alcohol. I am ready to start giving the children feeding money,”.

The Court’s President, S.M. Akintayo, who adjourned the case until March 1 for judgment, advised the couple to keep the peace.
