Nigerian human right activist and author, Reno Omokri has shared some insightful words on social media, says Like seasons, people change.

Omokri is the founder of the Free Leah Sharibu movement, which is a media campaign advocating for the freedom of Leah Sharibu, a Christian girl who was kidnapped by the radical Islamic sect, Boko Haram on February 19, 2018, offering to release her if she would convert to Islam, but she refused to renounce her Christian faith.

He was also the former Nigerian presidential aide.

On April 2, 2021, Omokri led a protest in London to force General Buhari to return to Nigeria, instead of relying on the UK for healthcare. Mr Buhari had flown into London the previous day

Omokri recently made a post made on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter, stating that people should never say they know somebody, because they spent a season with them, because people change.

He wrote;

“Like seasons, people change. So, never say you know somebody, because you spent a season with them. A tree that loses it leaves during winter, looks lush during summer. A man that is humble during the winter of his life, may be proud in his summer.”
