Popular Nigerian rapper, Folarin Falana, professionally known as Falz has received nominations from the youth to contest in the next presidential elections in 2023.

This is coming after the activist organized a car procession to honour those who were killed during the #End Sarz protest in 2020. Recall that Falz was also one of the celebrities who took part in the protest last year.

After the procession, Nigerians took to their various social media accounts to campaign, and compel Falz and Aisha Yesufu to run for presidency in 2023.

Nigerian singer, Bobmanny and Streets Mobilization Group Convener dragged Falz and Aisha to court, asking the court to compel them to run for Presidency in 2023.

They went ahead to share documents of the ligation against the two. This sparked reactions online as netizens concurred with the “Arise O’ Compatriots” crooner.

“And if they refuse, they should both get maximum sentences. Period”– a user wrote.
