Dede was the one who taught certain well-known actors how to act while lecturing at a university. One of them was Yul Edochie.
While wishing his mentor happy birthday last year, Edochie stated;
“He was my lecturer in the University of Port Harcourt, Theatre Arts Department. He taught us Acting. He laid the foundation for my successful acting career. How can you fail when you have such a Legend as your lecturer.”
